Our Culture

Universal Consulting's Mumbai office is located in Worli. Worli is a part of South Mumbai which extends from Haji Ali to Prabhadevi. It is bounded by the Arabian Sea to the west and the neighbourhoods of Haji Ali to the south, Mahalaxmi to the east and Prabhadevi to the north. We are centrally located among all the city's business centers, and provide convenient access to attractions such as the Bandra Worli Sea Link, Four Seasons Hotel, the Haji Ali Dargah islet, Nehru Center and downtown hotels.

Mumbai is the commercial and entertainment capital of India, it is also one of the world's top 10 centres of commerce in terms of global financial flow, The city houses important financial institutions such as the Reserve Bank of India, the Bombay Stock Exchange, the National Stock Exchange of India, the SEBI and the corporate headquarters of numerous Indian companies and multinational corporations. It is also home to some of India's premier scientific and nuclear institutes like BARC, NPCL, IREL, TIFR, AERB, AECI, and the Department of Atomic Energy. The city also houses India's Hindi (Bollywood) and Marathi film and television industry. Mumbai's business opportunities, as well as its potential to offer a higher standard of living, attract migrants from all over India and, in turn, make the city a melting pot of many communities and cultures.

We had combined the community service efforts to perform an internal research study for the Power of Public Accountability project. We contributed to the Information Technology Blueprint and other pro bono consulting projects including work for an organisation promoting western classical music to children, and the charitable trust developing an English school in Navsari, Gujarat. In addition to the community service initiatives, the Mumbai office contributed to the 2001 Gujarat Earthquake fund and towards the education for the children of Constables who lost their lives in the November 26, 2008 terrorist attack in Mumbai.

The Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore offices combine their community service efforts in order to make a difference and have a lasting impact beyond the business community.
