We conducted interviews with key opinion leaders across different end user industries, commercial vehicle OEMs, bodybuilders and competition to forecast the potential market for tipper trucks. Supported by the insights from the engagement, the client bought the target company for in a multi-million euro deal
  • UC also conducted a diagnostic study of a pharmaceutical company for a private equity company based in Kuwait that had invested in a Jordanian pharmaceutical company and was considering increasing its investment in the pharmaceutical company. Based on discussions with top management within the pharmaceutical company and key opinion leaders in the industry, we created a business model with financial projections of the pharmaceutical company, outlining its ability to generate profit over the next 5 years

UC conducted secondary and primary research with more than 50 respondents across customer segments, principals and traders/ dealers of diesel genset and developed perspectives on market share of various principals across product segment (KVA wise), market sizing (year wise) in value and volume for each customer segment and product segment (KVA wise). The client received facilitation on the decision making perspectives on the break-up of genset market size KVA wise (in value and volume), validation of the sectors growth opportunity over a three year horizon and the possibility of achieving the business plan target for each of the revenue stream was projected.

  • For example, our client, a large private equity firm had acquired an aluminum formwork manufacturing firm, and requested UC to assist in providing insights on the aluminum formwork market in India and other key markets to develop a market model for near (1/2 - 1 year) and medium-term (2 - 3 years) time period. UC conducted discussions with real estate industry experts, developers and builders, government officials and aluminum formwork users while identifying the levers for the growth of Indian real-estate market, which included demand and supply side analysis and government impetus. UC also evaluated other technologies for formwork and identified the usage of aluminum formwork. UC identified 6 key cities as geographical market for aluminum formwork based on the application of aluminum formwork of high rise residential building and landscaped the competitive dynamics and carried out the SWOT analysis on competitive set in India based on the key purchasing criteria of the customers. The client received an independently developed market model in near-term and medium-term future which also identified the key risks from the competitors.
