Client Challenge

The client was a Bangalore-based mobility service provider since 2011. They hired UC STRATEGY for manpower and cost rationalisation across various business verticals

Our Approach

• Determined the levers of optimization (integration, centralization and standardization,
automation) across the organization
• Identified relevant stakeholders, business workstream owners for each workstream and
appointed members of the PMO team to drive each such workstream
• Set up meetings and war-room discussions to receive inputs and recommendations of business
leaders for each workstream
• Prepared a detailed execution plan for each workstream after conducting a risk assessment and
preparing a mitigation plan
• Discussed and agreed upon the cost and manpower projections and targets to be achieved, with
the leadership team
• Conducted primary research and benchmarking for workstreams and policies such as travel,
staff welfare to help the client rationalise/modify their policies to achieve cost efficiencies
• Tracked and presented updates of the workstreams in the periodically organized SCM with the
client to ensure alignment and loop-in periodic feedback of the business leaders

Our Impact

For the year ending, cost reduction of ~40% was achieved over cost figures of the previous year. Manpower reduction of ~32% was also achieved.
