our origin
Founded in 1994 by Jay Desai, Universal Consulting India Pvt Ltd (UC) grew into one of India’s largest strategy, operations, and organisation consulting firms, having conducted 1100 projects for 392 clients across sectors over the past 32 years. Across these engagements, UC accumulated more than 2.8 million consulting hours. More than 75% of Universal Consulting’s work emanated from repeat and referral work.
UC’s 1,100 consulting projects span a broad range of sectors: Life Sciences (123 projects), Medical Technologies (83), Industrial Products & Capital Goods (204), Ports & Logistics (57), Automotive (74), Agri-Business & Food (134), Banking & Financial Services (121), Construction & Building Materials (44), and Diversified Industries (260).
The evolution
That same rigour has adapted and evolved into a new form over the recent years. Jay now brings these 36+ years of consulting experience across industry sectors into Adaptive Strategy Leadership Workshops that he conducts for organisations navigating a fast-changing world.
