Organisation Transformation for a Large Real Estate Player in India
Client Challenge
The client, a leading Indian real estate player, was facing significant organisational challenges related to people, process, technology, and culture, which hindered their ability to meet strategic objectives. They sought assistance in facilitating organisational transformation through a Project Management Office (PMO). The focus was on achieving milestones and objectives across various workstreams within the organisation.
Our Approach
To facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives, UC adopted the following approach:
- Identified Workstreams: Business Development (BD), New Product Development (NPD) and Design, Delivery Effectiveness, Sales, and Launch.
- Project Charters: Drafted and approved project charters.
- Ownership and Processes: Established ownership and defined/re-defined standardized processes, including review templates, cadence, and project plans.
- Cultural Facilitation: Facilitated a culture of coordination and cooperation.
- System Adherence: Ensured adherence to systems and processes.
Our Impact
The client gained deep insights into the extent of their organizational challenges and realized the need to focus on “fixing the basics” rather than achieving the next level of organizational excellence. Improvements were made across workstreams related to processes, system adherence, culture, and business metrics.
